The training program will featureleading Italian experts in aligner orthodontics and 3 international special guests.
The course aims to illustrate the methods of virtual case design and clinical management, from simple to more complex cases.
From the basics of biomechanics to the use of auxiliaries, from skeletal anchorage to combined treatment with fixed orthodontics and aligners, topics will be developed with the aim of providing learners with the tools to improve clinical experience and knowledge of orthodontic treatment methods with clear aligners.
The course consists of modules of 2 webinars each month, for a total of 2 hours per month (except for August). During each webinar there will be a Q&A session in which the presenter will answer questions posed during the discussion.

Graduated in Dentistry from La Sapienza University of Rome, later specialized in Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara.
He has been involved in Orthodontics education for many years, both as a professional speaker on behalf of 3M Oral Care and as a lecturer in many Italian universities: he is an Adjunct Professor at the Vita Salute San Raffaele University School of Specialization in Milan (dir. Prof. G.Gastaldi); he was so at the G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti from 2008 to 2016 and, in various capacities, has held teaching positions at other Italian universities (Catania, Roma Cattolica, Roma La Sapienza, Roma Tor Vergata, L’Aquila, Messina, University of Campania, Milan, Turin).
He has been a speaker for SIDO (Italian Society of Orthodontics), AIDOR (Italian Academy of Orthodontics), ANDI (National Association of Italian Dentists) and AIO (Italian Dental Association).
He has also published scientific articles in Italian and international journals.
He is co-author of the text “Miniscrew: atlas of clinical use” (Ed.Martina 2021).

In 2001 he obtained his specialty in Orthodontics with highest honors at the same university.
In 2007, he obtained a PhD in human morphology from the University of Milan. In 2009, he completed a postgraduate course in orofacial pain at the University of New Jersey in the U.S.
Since 2014, he has been an adjunct professor of the chair of orthodontics and orthodontic specialty school at the Turin Dental School and is involved in international research projects focused on aligner orthodontics.
Since 2019, he has been the educational and clinical coordinator of the specialty school of Orthodontics at the University of Turin.
He has authored and co-authored more than 100 publications in peer reviewed, national and international journals and orthodontic book chapters.
He is a reviewer for the most important journals in the field of orthodontics and oral physiology.
He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Aligner orthodontics published by Quintessence.
He received the Align Research Award in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 for single or multicenter studies.
He is a founding member, board member and currently Scientific Chairman of the European Aligner Society.
He practices in private practice in Turin, Italy.

He conducts his freelance practice dedicated exclusively to ‘orthodontics in Turin and his clinical interests are related to digital technologies in orthodontics, from diagnosis to clinical procedures.
